Because of the trust placed in Mortgage Bankers, it is essential that clients be made aware of the use of information supplied in connection with the processing of their mortgage. This statement is designed to inform our clients of what is done with the information supplied to this office.
Types of information collected
We collect certain non-public information as may be required to represent clients in the matter for which we have been retained. This information is generally provided by the client, but certain non-public information may also be generated through our representation of the client, including but not limited to, contractual terms, estate designations and real estate matters.
Parties with whom we share this information
We share non-public information with only those persons who work with us or for us; or in certain limited circumstances, those persons with whom we have a professional relationship or whom we believe require the information in order to best serve the clients needs as pertains to the matter of which we have been retained. These persons might include lawyers or professionals whose advice or services are required by us to serve the client. In such circumstances we stress the confidential nature of the information and ensure that no further disclosure will be made.
Records retention and confidentiality
To better serve the future needs of our clients, and comply with certain professional responsibilities, we maintain copies of certain documents generated or obtained during the course of representation. These documents are stored in our office, and are inaccessible to anyone but our emloyees.
